DISCOVERING HOW WE ARE REGENERATING ECOSYSTEMS AND RAISING PREMIUM QUALITY BEEF
We do ship to the lower 48. Typically we stop taking orders Friday at close of business. We pack orders on Saturday, and then your box will be shipped Monday, and Tuesday which means your order should arrive by the end of the week.
When we say 100% grass finished we are referring to the diet our animals had throughout their lives. Our animals are pastured, never confined. They are on a multi species diet, just like you’d see in a native ecosystem (grasses, legumes, etc.)
The easiest way to order beef is to click the SHOP button at the top of the page or to click on the products above this in the “Featured” section. We take all major credit cards.
We do not use any growth hormones or antibiotics on animals that will enter your food supply. We take pride in our animal husbandry and do care for sick animals and we do it well within the standards of BQA.
“Regeneratively raised” means that our animals were raised within our systems based on Regenerative Agriculture. The focus is on restoring ecosystems with a focus on rebuilding soil health. We use techniques like intensive grazing, cover cropping, and bale grazing to restore and rejuvenate our landscape.
As you checkout, there are three options. You can have the beef shipped to you, you can come pick it up at the ranch, or you can come to a drop off location. We have specific dates and times for pick up and drop off.
I'm Beckie and with my husband Justin, we are the operations part of Foodstead and our ranch, Mission Valley Farms. We have partnered with a fantastic partner, Keith. I come from that wonderful country to our north 🇨🇦, and was raised on a farm and ranch there. Justin is a homegrown Montana boy who spent much of his life working on his family's ranch in north central Montana. When Justin and I were introduced to Keith, we immediately knew we had found a business partner that we could build something really amazing with. Together we wade through all the challenges and successes that come with a newer ranching operation. We have worked our tails off, had heartbreak, frustrations, and absolute joy and all the excitement that comes with chasing our big dreams. We all bring some past experience to a new kind of operation that values soil health first. We use animals in their natural environments to make our soil healthy. We believe this will produce the healthiest, most flavorful food around and can't wait to share it with you!
